Best food dining experience I've had in a long time in Brisbane, we got the banquet option with Madras lamb and Rogan Josh. Exquisite. Service was great, and very polite. Will definitely be coming back again, highly recommend to all lovers of this cuisine.
My partner and I went here for the first time and it was a great experience. The food was excellent - delicious, authentic, well made. We are so often disappointed when dining out, so this was one of those infrequent occasions where we decided that we would definitely be back and be regulars. The service was very good and unobtrusive. The only thing I'd change is to lower the volume of the music a little to help conversation.
I appreciate the team’s willingness and service in taking a late order, but please - raisins do not belong in biryani. Biryani was sweet when it was meant to be savoury. Please fix this blasphemy.
We have travelled all over the world and always eaten at various Indian restaurants in each city we have travelled to or lived in. This restaurant had the absolute worst customer service. Absolutely terrible waiter who told me to watch my tone when I was explaining to him the issues with our order. He expected me to be grateful that he was going out of his way to sort out my issue given that he didn’t take our order? On top of that, food lacked any real quality. A shame to the respect inherently expected in Asian culture and the true quality of Asian food. The waiter was so rude that we had to just pay for the entree and one main and just leave as quickly as possible. At least the female waiter acknowledged the gross rudeness from her colleague.
The food served here is just like home made food. Yummy, delicious and sumptuous! All appears to be prepared with love. Having said that, I would have loved to see a little more of curry quantities, for the cost we pay, of course, that's my personal feeling. The ambience is good and service as always with a most welcoming smile. Love this place. The owner too is a very kind person, which makes your visit worth it, as his kindness is felt all around. A must visit. Location wise pretty much in the valley!
