I consider Taj Bengal one of the best Indian restaurants in Brisbane, and so fortunate that we happen to live only 100 metres away! I think the best way to describe this restaurant is consistently superb - every meal is exceptional, and the service - always outstanding. This family run restaurant brings authenticity and a quality experience every time we visit - and I know that our large network of family and friends think the same. You won't be disappointed.

It's been over 9 years since we last visited Taj Bengal. Nothing to do with the restaurant. Mainly as we moved around Brisbane so much we never got the chance to return. Now that we are living locally, we returned to Taj Bengal with hope and fond memories. We were so happy to see that nothing had really changed. The layout is the same. The wonderful service from staff is the same and the food is as great as it was. The Tandoori chicken is spectacular, my daughters butter chicken is up there with the best she's had (Sorry, the best she had was in the Maldives). Everything was polished, well presented, plentiful in its serving and delicious. We can't recommend this place more highly for a great Curry in Brisbane.

If I could give zero I would. In between sittings the staff walk around with a bowl of milky water and a rag to blot the table of sauce and food which has been spilled. Then, without removing the table cloth, they will put fresh cutlery and plates down over the damp stained table and prepare it for the next patrons. If you like eating from the previous persons mess this is the place for you. ***** I would like to note the owners reply below. I can confirm I am talking about the correct restaurant****
